If classic albums like Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get It On' and 'What's Going On' are on Sebastian Mikael's list of inspiring material, chances are the singer knows his fair share of crafting soul-moving music. With the arrival of his debut album, 'Speechless,' fans (and the uninformed) can experience his own stirring ballads and fervent lyrics with songs like the title track and his Wale-assisted single 'Last Night.'

Signed to Slip-n-Slide Records in 2012, Sebastian, 25, has spent the last two years crafting a body of work that represents his journey. He left Sweden years ago with the hopes of making a name for himself in the U.S., and by his progress in 2014, the artist has done a solid job of doing just that.

After performing acoustic versions of the aforementioned tracks in The Boombox studio, the self-taught guitar player sat down to open up about his new LP. While the process was no easy feat, it's apparent a weight has been lifted off his shoulders now that the project is available for public consumption. Take a look as Sebastian Mikael discusses his artistic creativity, bidding farewell to his stomping grounds, getting schooled, his career breaking point and much more.
