Sean Paul's recent releases have been geared toward a more mainstream sound, but the Damian Marley-featured 'Riot' finds him returning to his reggae roots.

The track, set to be featured on the upcoming 'Full Frequency' LP, has the two respected Jamaican artists trading verses over a low-fi beat with echoing reggae guitars and a kinetic percussion pattern.

The video doesn't have too much gloss either, as it features pretty much what the song title suggests. Lit molotovs are thrown and a small crowd is seen protesting, although it's not shown exactly what they're protesting against.

'Riot' doesn't err completely away from mainstream though. There's a bouncing synth that's a good reason for some hip-shaking.

After being delayed from its intended November release, the reggae artist's 'Full Frequency' LP will drop Feb. 18, 2014.
