After six-years of having his urban aesthetic on New York's prominent Fifth Avenue -- home to luxe department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdoff Goodman -- entertainment mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs is closing the doors of his Sean John flagship store. According to reports, the Sean John boutique will officially shut its doors at the end of December, but all is not lost. Rumor has it Diddy is looking to open stores in both New York and Los Angeles.

Combs successfully opened an earth-friendly, sustainable Sean John pop-up store on Los Angeles' Sunset Boulevard this past June as part of the Shop Future project. The shop featured spring/summer and fall 2010 clothing, accessories and fragrance collections. But prior to opening the environment-friendly shop, Combs proudly revealed that he'd signed an exclusive deal with Macy's, where he had once worked as a teen.

It's unclear whether Combs' exclusive deal with the chain caused the alleged low sales, which has been cited as the reason for the closing of the Sean John flagship store.
