Although Kendrick Lamar was crowned one of the "Men of the Year" by GQ magazine, fellow TDE artist ScHoolboy Q wants to share the title as well. Although completely unrelated to the GQ story controversy, ScHoolboy drops a new track called 'Man of the Year.'

The head-nodding banger, with its thunderous beat and tense soundscapes, appears on the soundtrack to the 'NBA Live ’14' video game. The song features the Los Angeles rapper spitting boastful rhymes and crowning himself the top player in the rap game.

"Peace, love and enemies / Homie I ain't come for the beef / You ain't know? / I’m player of the week / Player of the week / Homie I'm the life of the beat / Bump that this s---, n---- gotta eat," he raps.

While fans are waiting patiently for Q’s album, 'Oxymoron,' this song should definitely hold them over until a release date is announced, which should be this week.
