Schoolboy Q Performs With Isaiah Rashad at New York City Show

West Coast native Schoolboy Q got some East Coast love as he performed for a sold-out crowd at Best Buy Theater in the heart of Times Square for Hot 97's MetroPCS 5 Boro Takeover Tour last night (March 4). Isaiah Rashad and Vince Staples also served as supporting acts for the "man of the year."

The evening was especially celebratory because Q's new album, ‘Oxymoron’ debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart, beating out projects like 'Satellite Flight' from fellow rapper Kid Cudi.

During the show, fans bounced to songs off the LP like ‘Gangsta,’ ‘Collard Greens’ and ‘Hell of a Night,’ just to name a few.

The TDE member also took fans back with notable tunes ‘F--- LA,' 'Banger (Moshpit)' and 'Hands On the Wheel.' It’s no surprise why Schoolboy Q has such a loyal following; he showed love to the crowd and sincerely thanked them continuously for their support.

Tennessee-bred rapper and fellow TDE signee Isaiah Rashad made his debut New York City performance alongside Q and from the response of the crowd, it definitely won’t be his last. Vince Staples also got fans pumped with his rousing set. Staples is currently promoting his new mixtape, ‘Shyne Coldchain Vol. 2.’

Overall, the rappers offered fans one hell of a night.
