ScHoolboy Q has announced the release date for his forthcoming album. The Compton rhymer shared the news via a series tweets, revealing to fans the final due date for his follow-up to 2014s Oxymoron.

The singles "Groovy Tony" and "THat Part" (featuring Kanye West) have already been making the rounds for months. Q announced that his album will drop July 8.

"Sorry for tHe delay but album drops....7/8/16 final date......" he announced in a pair of tweets.

Q's album is one of several that have been announced as forthcoming releases from Top Dawg Entertainment. Kendrick Lamar's untitled, unmastered dropped unexpectedly in March and it looks like Q's new project is the next in line. The label's 2016 release schedule was made public in February; Ab-Soul and Isaiah Rashad both have albums slated to be released in 2016, but there are no official dates as of yet.
