Lloyd Banks discussed his new independent album, saying "I'm working independent. Everything they've heard the past year has come out my basement, including 'Beamer, Benz or Bentley.' In other words, Banks knows he fell off as soon as he got a buzz, a label and a check, and he's sorry about the doo-doo on a stick. [MTV]

Poison singer Bret Michaels is receiving flak for his creepy new song with 17-year-old Miley Cyrus. "The part where it says she slowly gets undressed, Miley says, 'Yeah, she does,' " Michaels explained about their highly suggestive collaboration. "It has no reference to her and [me]. It's not even a duet. As God is my witness, there is nothing I have to be defensive about. I'm a good dad. I just thought it was a beautiful song." So creepy. [MTV]
