Salaam Remi – ‘One In The Chamber’ Feat. Akon

In a move that you could say is a long time in the making, veteran producer Salaam Remi will release his debut album, titled 'One: In The Chamber,' at the end of this month. And to warm us up, the beatsmith famed for his work with Nas, Alicia Keys and the late Amy Winehouse debuts the lead single and title track, which is harmonized by Akon.

Driven by a deep and crispy boom bap rhythm, 'One In The Chamber' is both melodic enough to warrant a little radio play and hard enough to keep hold of the core hip-hop heads. Akon's anthemic vocals compliment Remi's distinctive Island vibes nicely.

Arriving Sept. 30, 'One: In The Chamber' will feature more familiar voices like Stephen Marley, Ne-Yo and Estelle over Salaam's strong production.
