Saigon, who we earlier reported had just finished recording an entire album with DJ/Producer Statik Selektah in one 24 hour period, entitled 'All in a Day's Work,' has signed a deal with upstart label Amalgam Digital.

Amalgam, whose roster also includes Peedi Crakk, Max B and most prominently, Joe Budden, whom Saigon has recently been beefing with, will release the album digitally on Tuesday, March 17th. Though Sai ridiculed the label in his most recent Budden diss, 'Pushing Buddens,' saying "How is he lyrical?/This coward is pitiful/Thinking he doin it big on Amalgam Digital," apparently the rapper has come around.

"Saigon is not signed in the traditional sense of a record deal," a representative from Amalgam said. "Saigon has an incredible catalog of music, the world really needs to hear that, and together we intend to make that a reality."

We'll wait and see. It's looking like Dre's 'Detox' has a better chance of coming out now than Saigon's shelved major label debut, but who knows, maybe we'll see both come out in 2009.
