Safaree Samuels  isn't looking forward and leaving his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj as a distant memory in his past. Instead the “Lifeline” rapper is looking back to her music and plans to sue the Queen Barbz for money he feels he's owed from her last three albums.

According to TMZ, Nicki’s ex-boyfriend is talking with his attorneys and preparing himself for a legal battle. Sources told the gossip website that the Brooklyn rhymer wants royalties from her last three albums: Pink Friday, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and The Pinkprint. In addition, he wants a cut from Nicki’s contributions on her two collaborations with Beyonce: “Flawless (Remix)” and “Feeling Myself.”

In the past, SB has alluded to the fact that he’s penned lyrics for Nicki, which she has categorically denied. The 34-year-old rapper plans to present an array of evidence proving that he assisted in Nicki’s songwriting, including videos, voice memos and hours of footage from studio sessions.

Safaree has not addressed his alleged impending legal case against his ex. He's focused on promoting his upcoming video for his single, "Bust It."
