Fresh off the announcement of a new album, following a 10-year hiatus, Sade is back in business with the release of the title track 'Soldier of Love.' As the name suggests the song plays on a military theme with intense drumbeat and electric guitar below Sade's elevated vocals. Sounding as if not a day has gone by since her debut more than twenty years ago the British-Nigerian singer's topic of choice is love in comparison to war. "I'm a solider of love/Everyday and night/I'm a soldier of love, all the days of my life/I am lost but I don't doubt so I rise/I have a will to survive."

Since singing about love never seems to go out of style, Sade pretty much hit this one out of the park. Not only sticking to her signature sound but providing listeners with a genre-bending selection in the process. Fans will enjoy this little tidbit to tide them over until the full record drops next year.

Sade and band members Andrew Hale, Paul Spencer Denmann and Stuart Matthewman released their last album 'Lovers Rock,' in 2000. Debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 200 Charts, 'Lovers Rock' went on to sale more than three million copies in the U.S. and won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album in 2002.

'Soldier of Love,' hits stores Feb. 8, 2010.
