SadeFor weeks now, the Internet has been abuzz with excitement about Sade's impending return with her brand new album 'Soldier of Love.' Men, women, children and rappers alike have patiently awaited the release of the long overdue album and that day is finally here. Today, (Feb. 9) marks the release of Sade's first album in ten years. The reclusive songstress will make one of her first U.S. appearances at 6PM tonight on BET's 106 and Park, where she will reach out to her young demographic with a live performance and interview.

It will be a long week for the singer, who rarely makes public appearances, as she will follow up with interviews on a slew of network shows including The Late Show with Letterman, The View, Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Ellen Degeneres Show.

Sade should certainly feel at home in the 106 and Park studios tonight, since the hip-hop community holds her in the highest regard. In recent weeks, several rappers have expressed their unrequited love for the British singer. Drake admitted that the legendary songstress is on his wish list of artists to work with, while Kanye West explained that he was thankful just to be blogging about her return. Hopefully it comforts them to know that she returns their love. In a recent interview, the songstress told Radio host Tom Joyner that she is a big fan of heavy rap music. "I like songs with sort of more heavy rap. I like Raekwon's album ['Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II'], you know from the Wu-Tang Clan, Sade said. "I listen to just about anything that speaks to me, and anything that's sort of got a bit of soul and a bit of real feeling in it."

Catch Sade on BET's 106 and Park, tonight at 6PM followed by an appearance on the The Late Show with Letterman show at 11:35PM. 'Soldier of Love' will be Sade's sixth studio album.
