Rapper Sadat X might be known for getting dirty on the mic, but he's also a self-proclaimed wine connoisseur. The Brand Nubian member recently debuted the third season of his hilarious Internet series, 'True Wine Connoisseurs,' which he's reviving after falling back from filming for a minute.

In the first episode, Sadat X tastes wines at Blue Ribbon Restaurant in New York City with fellow wordsmith R.A. The Rugged Man, with whom he collaborated on the track '50,000 Heads.' During the show, the pair provides witty commentary on wines supplied by First Drop Wines, discussing the merits of twist cap bottles and applying tips on how to properly taste wine from trips to wineries.

Aside from his Internet project, Sadat X has been steady on the music grind over the past few years, most recently releasing his 'Wild Cowboys 2' earlier this year. The five-track offering included production from Pete Rock, Diamond D, 9th Wonder and Buckwild as well as guest appearances from AG, Rhymefest, Grand Puba, Ill Bill and more.

Sadat X has been in the game for almost two decades, making his debut as one-fifth of the hip-hop group Brand Nubian. The collective released its seminal debut, 'One For All,' in 1990, continuing on to release a string of successful albums throughout the '90s and '00s. In between releases, Sadat X released his first solo offering, 'Wild Cowboys,' in 1996, earning the emcee the hits 'Hang 'Em High' and 'The Lump Lump.'
