Run the Jewels Releases Blistering Track ‘Oh My Darling Don’t Cry’

Run the Jewels, the collaborative rap duo of Killer Mike and El-P, have just released a blistering new single called 'Oh My Darling Don't Cry.' The song is their contribution to the weekly Adult Swim Singles Series.

Over a bass-heavy industrial beat, El-P and Killer Mike spit abrasive lyrics about sex, drugs and violence.

"F--- them all they can eat a d--- that's word to pimp," raps EL-P before adding later, "I do two things...I rap and f---."

Mike follows with a fiery verse about smoking weed and stomping on f---boys. Oh my!

"I f--- and rap / I tote the strap / I smoke the kush / I beat the p--- / I read the books / I did the math / Don't need no preacher preaching on my behalf," he spits.

In between the thudding beats and razor-edged rhymes are "guest robot" vocals from Michael Winslow, the human sound machine from the 'Police Academy' movies.

Overall, the song is a chaotic storm of s--- talking from the RTJ duo and we are not mad at them for that.

'Oh My Darling Don't Cry' will also appear on Run the Jewels' second album 'RTJ2,' which hits stores on Oct. 27. You can check out the cover art and tracklist here.
