Ron Artest Channels Michael Jackson When Making Music

Queensbridge, NY bred guard-forward Ron Artest sat down for an interview with fellow Queens native 50 Cent‘s Thisis50.com to discuss his sheltered upbringing as well as his relationship with Los Angeles Lakers teammate Kobe Bryant, his new track ‘Champion.’ is bad temper and channeling Michael Jackson when he records music. “Everybody wanna sound like a Drake or Kanye,” Artest tells Thisis50.com when weighing in on the current state of music. “They gotta switch their game up. Michael Jackson wrote with passion … When I do music I always think of Michael [Jackson] and how he would do it.” Check out the video after the jump.
