Married couple Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are facing trouble with the IRS for an estimated $492,000 they owe in taxes.

On Dec. 28, 2011, the IRS filed a $492,583 tax lien against the ‘Love After War’ creator and his wife, who stars in the recently released film, ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.’ The lien was filed with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds, reports the Detroit News.

The address listed on the tax lien is a Post Office box in Santa Monica, Calif. According to the Detroit News, a representative for the couple says they had no clue a tax bill existed.

“They were just made aware of the issue and it is being taken care of immediately,” the rep said Friday (Jan. 13).

Thicke, 34, has been married to Patton, 36, since 2005. They have a son, Julian, who will turn two years old this year.
