Robin Thicke may not be engaged, but he’s certainly got love on his mind on his new single, “Back Together,” featuring a cheeky verse from Nicki Minaj.

Thicke tweeted out the track late Wednesday night (Aug. 5) while simultaneously shooting down rumors that he was engaged to his 20-year-old girlfriend April Love Geary.

“Back Together” is a slightly different sound for the 38-year-old singer. The song boasts an electro-pop tune, courtesy of hitmaker Max Martin, which is perfectly for the dance floor. Thicke yearns for the love of a one-night stand that rocked his world.

"I want to live in-between your legs / It was the freaky things you said / I don't like what you are turning me into," he sings, adding, "Now all I wanna do is get you back / 'Cause girl you are the best I ever had."

The Queen Barbz adds a quick verse full of clever wordplay. "Yo Robin, I get more head then when they're noddin' / Kitty on fleek it's poppin' I'm Mary Poppins," she raps. "You know you miss this, right? / M-I-S-S, miss this spot / Used to call me Hillary cause I ride ‘em (Rodham)."

"Back Together" is the second collaboration between Thicke and Minaj; the pair previously teamed up on the 2009 single, "Shakin' It 4 Daddy."

Thicke is currently working on his eight album, Morning Sun.
