Rise x Fila Cage ‘New York Is For Lovers’

A popular misconception about New Yorkers they're rude, pushy and heartless but if you've ever spent anytime in the Big Apple you'd know that this is not entirely the case. With that in mind Long Island's newest sneaker boutique has put together a great Fila Cage colorway to show you that New York is indeed "for lovers."

The friendly new crimson colorway of the sneaker features a red suede upper with black accents and a black outsole flecked with red speckles. Special touches like pixelated NY heart logo on the tongue and the phrase "New York Is For Lovers" splashed across the insoles really tie the theme together as well.

If the NY pride angle of this colorway wasn't enough for you the RED also signifies a Rise45's commitment to organizations that are dedicated to developing a sustainable cure for HIV/ AIDS. Rise45 will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the NYIFL Collection to these organizations. And you thought the City the didn't have a heart.
