Rihanna recently revealed that she turned down a spread in Playboy magazine. “I got a few offers to do Playboy actually. They want to pay you to be naked on the cover,” she told Angie Martinez. “If I’m gonna take my clothes off, it has to be in a classy way and my will, not a check. I wouldn’t take any money to do that.” Classy like leaked cellphone pics? [Rap-Up]

Memphis Bleek discussed mentor Jay-Z’s MTV ‘Unplugged’ performance, saying that everything, from his choice of band The Roots to his his outfit was trendsetting. “That was the first time I ever saw a rapper use a band. And at that time, to use the Roots, you know a soulful band like that it just did so much for hip hop,” Bleek explained. “For Jay to wear the chain and the Che t-shirt, he set trends…like the whole world follows whatever he do, drinks or talk about. They just pick up on it, like he’s the professor, like study him.” Yes, Jay was the first to wear a Che shirt and a chain…in 2001…cause he’s the professor. [RapFix]

Ke$ha has posted her upcoming EP ‘Cannibal’ on her website for fans to preview. “This is my album premiere, and it’s top secret, and it’s really fun and it’s wild,” the zany pop star explains in a video on her site. “Things are going to get crazy and a little awkward, it’ll be okay.” Kinda sounds like we’re about to make out, but okay.
