Following her slew of upcoming performances on 'Saturday Night Live,' 'Good Morning America' and 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' Rihanna is scheduled to open up the 38th annual American Music Awards, which will air live from Los Angeles on November 21.

Rap-Up reports that RiRi will take the stage and open up the star-studded award show, where she will perform new music from her forthcoming album 'Loud.'

The 'Only Girl (In the World)' singer is currently nominated for two AMA awards. She will face-off against Alicia Keys and Sade for Favorite Female Artist and Favorite Soul/R&B album. Eminem currently leads the pack of AMA nominees with five nods for Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist in the Pop/Rock category, Favorite Album, Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Male artists and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop album. Winners will be determined by online voting polls at AMAvote.com and AMA.ABC.com.

Additional performers at the 38th annual award show will include Usher, Pink and Bon Jovi. More acts are expected to be announced in the weeks leading up to the show. The AMAs will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, on Sunday Nov. 21 at 8PM EST on ABC.
