It's the first day of summer! This year has been heating up with songs to make us sway, wine and rave. And now that it's officially shorts weather, we're geared up for the day parties and late night escapades.

But none of those are complete without the right tunes. Whether we're yelling the ubiquitous lines with our woes ("I'm all the way up!") or trying to serenade a potential suitor ("I need a one dance"), this year's songs has got you covered. Cause "at the end of the day, music is all we got."

Here are The Boombox's 10 Songs of the Summer that will have you jamming and dancing into the night for Summer 2016.

  • “All We Got”

Chance the Rapper Feat. Kanye West

Chance the Rapper and Kanye West are proving to be a dynamic duo. After releasing "Ultralight Beam" off of Ye's The Life of Pablo, the two came back with "All We Got" for Chance's Coloring Book.  And what we got is a song that's perfect for swaying and the turn up. Bonus: We get to yell "Man I swear my life is perfect" with a very joyful Chance.

  • "This Is What You Came For”

    Calvin Harris Feat. Rihanna

Rihanna teamed up with Calvin Harris for a follow-up to their 2011 track "We Found Love." In the latest song, "This is What You Came For" they continue to give us party vibes that make us want to dance and lock eyes with a cute someone across the room.

  • "All The Way Up"

Fat Joe & Remy Ma Feat. French Montana and Infared

Summer is not just about fun, but celebrations. Whether it's a birthday, new job or just making it to another Friday night, Fat Joe and Remy Ma's "All The Way Up" has got you covered. Not to mention, we're likely to get a few more remixes before the summer is out. Basically, it's lit.

  • "Can't Stop the Feeling"

    Justin Timberlake

Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling" is an instant good mood setter. Although it's from the from the soundtrack of the Pixar animated film, Trolls, it's also made it's way onto mainstream radio. (Like Pharrell's "Happy" from Despicable Me 2.) And we're sure it's bound to find it's way to the dance floor as well.

  • "One Dance"

    Drake

Just when we thought nothing could top Drake's "Hotline Bling," he hit us with "One Dance." Drizzy's latest track has us swaying along to his rap-singing style. And the lyrics are pretty much made for the dance floor. "Grips on your waist / Front way, back way / You know that I don't play," he sings. It's no wonder the song became his first solo track to gain the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

  • "Work"

    Rihanna

No summer list would be complete without this explosive track that hit the internets earlier this year. While it dropped in February, Rihanna's "Work" is still going strong (It's currently at the No. 9 spot on Billboard's Hot 100 chart as of last week) We dare you to listen to it and try not to wine.

  • "All Night"

    Beyonce

Sometimes we need to slow it down after the craziness of the summer -- especially when as it starts getting hotter. Beyonce's "One Night" is the song for just that. Whether you want to slow dance with a special someone or go solo as you belt out the lyrics, it's provides the perfect chill vibes. (It also happens to be Bey's favorite off of Lemonade.)

  • "In Common"

    Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys is back! After a four year music hiatus, the 35-year-old singer released "In Common." The simple love song with an afrobeats vibe, has been one of our favorites. And we're sure that'll continue into the summer as well.

  • "Be Mine (Gyal)"

    Genra

Dancehall and summer are almost synonymous (as we've seen with Rihanna's "Work") so Genra's "Be Mine (Gyal)" is no exception to the rule. As the Jamaican artist sings about getting intimate with a lady, we can't help but envision ourselves on the dancefloor with our very own special someone.

  • "Best Love"

    Yuna

Yuna's voice is as smooth as butter. With "Best Love" she showcases spacey vibes that give us a classic R&B feel. But overall, it's perfect for the late summer nights.
