Two of pop's biggest names are joining forces for what will no doubt be a sizzling song. Rihanna has announced that her new collaboration with Shakira is on the way.

A fan mentioned the song, 'Can't Remember to Forget,' in a tweet that also featured the release date. However, Rihanna was quick to let her supporters know the track would actually arrive sooner than they thought.

Billboard explains that the new single was previously confirmed for January without a date. The song will likely be on Shakira's new English album. The forthcoming studio effort, her English language follow-up to 2009's 'She Wolf,' is slated for a spring release. Apparently, the two singer have already filmed a music video for the track in Los Angeles with director Joseph Kahn.

Meanwhile, Rihanna has been keeping herself busy as the face of MAC Cosmetics. Last week, the stunner debuted the new ad for her MAC Viva Glam lipstick in which she appears topless wearing a blonde bob.
