As reported by AOL Music Blog, following the upsetting news that Rihanna was the victim of a racist rant from a fellow hotel guest in Portugal, the singer has found herself at the center of yet another racially charged incident.

The publication's Editor-in-Chief, Eva Hoeke, later posted an apology on Facebook following the bad press and outraged reader comments that resulted from what she labeled as a "bad joke."

After catching wind of the offensive article, Rihanna took to her Twitter page to write a heated response directly to Hoeke. "I hope u can read English, because your magazine is a poor representation of the evolution of human rights!" tweeted Ri. "I find you disrespectful, and rather desperate!!"

"You ran out of legit, civilized information to print!," continued the star. "There are 1000's of Dutch girls who would love to be recognized for their contributions to your country, you could have given them an article. Instead, u paid to print one degrading an entire race! That's your contribution to this world! To encourage segregation, to mislead the future leaders to act in the past! You put two words together, with the intent of abasement, that made no sense ..."N---- B----"?! ...Well with all respect, on behalf of my race, here are my two words for you ... F--- YOU!!!"

Less than 24 hours later, Hoeke released her statement of resignation from Jackie as a result of the controversy. "I regret that I have taken a stand too quickly regarding an article in Jackie -- which moreover had no racial motive at its basis. Through the course of events, me and the publisher have concluded that because my credibility is now affected, it is better for all parties if I quit my function as editor-in-chief effective immediately," she wrote.

The letter of resignation continued, "After putting my heart and soul into for Jackie for eight years, I realize that these errors -- although not intended maliciously -- are enough reason for leaving. I should have counted to ten before taking un-nuanced stands through social media channels."

The magazine has also extended a personal invitation to Rihanna "to share her feelings and thoughts on the article in the next issue."
