Rihanna Likes To Be Spanked, Talks Brown in Rolling Stone
Rihanna likes to be spanked. That's what she tells Rolling Stone in the new issue out on newsstands this Friday (April 1). In her first cover story for the rock 'n' roll mag, the 'Only Girl (In the World)' singer also touches on America's favorite pervading pop topic: her relationship with former abusive ex Chris Brown.
Rihanna confesses that she lifted the restraining order against Brown in February -- two years after his assault on her following a pre-Grammy party -- because she "didn't want to object to the judge," but reiterated that "doesn't mean we're gonna make up, or even talk again."
"We don't have to talk ever again in my life," Rihanna told RS writer Josh Eells. "I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can't perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him."
RiRi also talks about her naughty side, discussing that her video for 'S&M' -- banned from several countries -- is semi-autobiographical because she prefers to be the one getting, not giving when it comes to the bedroom.
"Being submissive in the bedroom is really fun," she explains. "You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge of your s---. That's fun to me ... I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun. I like to keep it spontaneous. Sometimes whips and chains can be overly planned – you gotta stop, get the whip from the drawer downstairs. I'd rather have him use his hands."
The new Rolling Stone issue marks Rihanna's first turn on the cover of the respected music magazine. "It's a very, very big deal," she beams. "It's an honor to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. This is something we've been waiting for for many, many years ... It's a big stepping stone in my career."
