Rihanna didn't bite her tongue when it came to voicing her opinion about comments Ciara made regarding her attitude on an episode of E!'s 'Fashion Police.' Friday night (Feb. 25), the 'Loud' singer took to Twitter to respond to the 'Ride' performer after learning she was a guest on the show, hosted by Joan Rivers.

During the episode, Ciara, dressed in a white form-fitting dress, sat back while Rivers critiqued an outfit worn by Rihanna. After Rivers and her co-host were done with their tirade, the ATL songstress made a subtle jab at the red-haired entertainer.

"I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn't the nicest, and it's crazy because I've always loved and respected what she's done with fashion and I ran into her before but this time it was just, it wasn't the most pleasant run-in," Ciara told Rivers, who then referred to Rihanna with an expletive.

Rihanna posted a reaction to Ciara's remarks on the Twitter social networking site, which caused the Internet to go into a frenzy. "My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme," she tweeted. "U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of."

"Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off the stage," Ciara shot back. "pure comedy..."

But as soon as the two battled with one another in less than 140 characters, they seemingly made up just as fast.

"Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I'm heartbroken! That's y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup," Rihanna wrote.

In response, the 'Basic Instint' creator posted a welcoming exchange: "Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let's chat in person."
