When Rihanna entered the room at the 2015 Met Gala on Monday night (May 4), the singer turned heads as she walked the red carpet inside New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art in a yellow embellished robe that would make Cinderella jealous.

The train on the Bajan beauty's dress could have covered an entire Manhattan apartment floor due to its length. Rihanna selected Chinese couture designer Guo Pei to design her dramatic gala ensemble, which fit perfectly with the evening's theme in honor of the museum’s exhibit “China: Through the Looking Glass.”

Never one to shy away from taking a fashion risk, Rihanna left onlookers wondering what she actually wore underneath the golden robe since it appeared she could very well be in her birthday suit. She paired the look with nude heels and a decorative headpiece that matched the swirling floral designs on her wardrobe of choice.

Go big or go home was certainly the motto the "Bitch Better Have My Money" chanteuse was working with for the formal affair. Competition in the best dressed department was fierce but Rihanna's spot on the list is well-deserved.

However, not everyone thought her pick for the night was as fabulous as her Navy did. While the love for her look was felt throughout Twitter, there were some critics who compared the robe to some breakfast eats and even a childhood character favorite. Find out what the people are saying about Rihanna's Met Gala couture below.
