Even though she was a singer, Whitney Houston's death has also touched the hearts of the hip-hop community. While attending the 54th annual Grammy Awards Sunday (Feb. 12), rappers Rick Ross and Wiz Khalifa openly expressed their condolences for the legendary songstress.

"Rest in peace Whitney Houston the one and only," Ross told The BoomBox. "I pray we all remember her for the positive impact she had on the culture."

Wiz Khalifa, who marked his first time at the Grammy Awards with girlfriend -- and newfound singer -- Amber Rose, was excited about his two nominations, but took time out to speak on Houston's death.

"Very tragic situation," Khalifa shared. "I know my baby [Rose] and I, we grew up listening to Whitney and it means so much to us and our families. We feel like we lost a family member but we're just praying for them and moving on to celebration other than grieving."

Houston's death was a big topic at the Grammy Awards. Just about every performer who took the stage made mention of the singer, while the night's host, LL Cool J, opened the ceremony by leading the audience in prayer.
