Rick Ross will make his first trip to Africa in December to perform at MTV's Africa Music Awards.

Ross, who is nominated in the Best International Artist category, is one of the most recent additions to the annual awards show. He will take the stage along with several popular African artists from across the continent, including; 2Face, Daddy Owen, Banky W, Fall Ipupa, Teargas, Wande Coal and Jozi. The Bawse will be on hand to perform in Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday, Dec. 11, and the show, also known as MAMA, will be broadcast the following weekend on Dec. 18.

Rick Ross' 'Teflon Don' album, which was released back in July, climbed to No. 2 on the Billboard charts, thanks to hit singles like 'B.M.F.' and 'Live Fast, Die Young.' He is currently working with Diddy to release a new EP under their pseudonym Bugatti Boys. The joint EP will feature songs from both artists.
