Rick Ross Countersues 50 Cent & Groundskeepers Who Claim Rapper Beat Them

Rick Ross is fighting back against some serious allegations made against him. The Miami rhymer recently filed a countersuit against two men who claimed that he kidnapped and assaulted them at his Atlanta home. Rozay’s arch rival 50 Cent is also named in the suit.

Ross’ suit stems from his arrest on June 24 after Jonathan Zamudio, who was a groundskeeper on the rapper’s property, accused him and his bodyguard of pistol-whipping him and holding him against his will. Zamudio, and another landscaper, Leonardo Caceres, who was also beaten, filed a lawsuit against the Maybach Music Group honcho in August.

In his suit (via Revolt TV), Ross maintains that the two men were trespassing and weren't supposed to be living on the property. The 39-year-old rapper denies beating the two men and believes their lawsuit is frivolous and a ploy to extort money from him.

50 Cent is also named in the countersuit because of his trolling on social media. If you recall, the New York rapper posted a photo of himself and Zamudio posing together with the caption, “This is my FRIEND Jonathan, he was kidnapped and assaulted. He has chipped teeth from being pistol whipped. I can’t imagine how bad that hurt. Wait I bet it hurts like being a CO/ Rapper in Jail."

Ross is accusing 50 of instigating the two men's extortion plot. "The mere association between Mr. Roberts’ accusers and Mr. Curtis Jackson, speaks volumes to their lack of credibility and the likelihood of collusion," reads the suit. "Mr. Roberts’ reputation has been defamed and his businesses compromised. We will vigorously dispute all of Mr. Zamudio’s and Mr. Caceres’ claims, and aggressively pursue the substantial damages Mr. Roberts has incurred stemming from these false claims by the plaintiffs.”

Attorneys for 50 Cent had no comment on the matter.
