On Tuesday evening (Aug. 26), Rich Homie Quan came home to Atlanta to launch his Rich clothing line at Lenox Square's boutique Pure.

Playing host to only a few members of media and some music executives, Quan greeted and thanked everyone in attendance before catapulting into a couple of his current hits including 'Walk Through.' When the instrumental for 'Lifestyle' started up, Young Thug bounded out from the rear of the store to come through with the assist.

Beyond his impromptu performance and Thug's pop-up appearance, Quan's main focus was bringing attention to his collaborative effort with Jeezy's 8732 clothing line. "For Jeezy to choose me [to collaborate with]?" he says incredulously. "I never seen myself having a clothing line, although I love clothes in general. I won 'Best Dressed' in high school, but for me to actually have a clothing line is like a whole other level of success. I've reached another goal I never thought I would reach."

Surprisingly, the rapper's girlfriend, Amber Rella, who's actually creating her own line of cosmetics, and is fashionable in her own right, didn't inspire the look of the final pieces.

"To be honest," he starts, "Not to throw her under the bus, but my line had nothing to do with her. It's really something I sat down with in order to reflect who I am as a person. We give each other advice in what we do and how we move but the clothing line was a gift from God to me."

According to the 24-year-old, he was handpicked by Jeezy and 8732 co-founder Jon Koon, the primary designer of the Rich line who was also in attendance at the event, to bring a fresh feel to the 8732 brand.

"This was his idea," Quan reveals, gesturing towards Koon. "He started 8732 with Jeezy. So when Jeezy put us together it was like murder she wrote. I appreciate them for the opportunity. The clothing line represents who I am as a person. That's why you see all these different colors -- they're all different forms of my expression. I expressed myself through music and now I'm doing that through clothing and it looks pretty damn good to me."

The 'Lifestyle' creator also shared future goals for the line, stating that he plans on starting a women's and kids' collection.  "We're thinking of doing boy shorts later," he pondered aloud, smiling. "Because, you know, all the women love boy shorts. I love boy shorts myself."

When asked about whether or not he would be catering to some of the curvier women as well, he responds, "Listen. When I say 'women,' I mean all women. You gotta think about it, I have a fanbase of not just small women. I wanna do it for everybody."
