Shortly after Prodigy's release from prison, he reunited with his Mobb Deep partner Havoc for the duo's first recording in years. 'Love Y'all More,' produced by The Alchemist, premiered on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 show Wednesday night (March 16), with the song thanking fans for keeping their legacy alive while P was away.

Sporting a beat with emotive strings and subtle horns, the track begins with Prodigy announcing the duo's triumphant return. "Well, well, damn it to hell, fuck is Mobb Deep?/ Where y'all been at scraps? Recharging the batteries/ Had to regroup, reboot the system, press reset/ Fresh start right from where we started at," he raps.

The Queens rapper continues by bigging up the fans and returning the love. "See the audience is my love and I won't be a liar/ If I ain't say I love, lost a little bit of fire/ But here, take my hand, and we gon' keep it blazin' hot/ They hatin' our relationship, it never stops," he spits, leading into the chorus. "Through the thick and the thin, strong and the long/ We love y'all, 'cause y'all love us/ We love ya'll more."

Prodigy, whose real name is Albert Johnson, was released from prison last week after completing a three-year sentence for a guilty plea to weapons charges. The bid stemmed from an arrest after he and Alchemist were pulled over for making an illegal U-turn, upon which police discovered a gun in his glove compartment.
