Raz-B, a former member of the R&B group B2K, nearly lost his life -- and his hand -- on Sunday (July 8) after falling through a glass door in China, TMZ reports. The singer was on tour in Shanghai when he tripped in his hotel room and smashed through a sliding door, slicing through wrist tendons in the process.

Suffering from massive blood loss, the 27-year-old was rushed to Huashan Hospital Fudan University, according to the gossip site, where doctors performed a five-hour surgery and ultimately saved his hand.

Raz, whose real name is De'Mario Thornton, was released from the hospital yesterday, but he's cancelled the remaining dates on his Asian tour.
