Rapsody – ‘Kingship’ (Produced by DJ Premier)

As we inch closer toward the release of Rapsody's new mixtape, the North Carolina rapper has shared another top-notch lyrical joint in 'Kingship.' While previous leaks have been collaborations with go-to producer 9th Wonder, this one's a bit more special.

'Kingship' finds Rapsody linking with none other than DJ Premier, who is said to have once handed over the experimental instrumental to Ludacris. The Atlanta stalwart and Premo had worked together in the past, most notably on 'MVP' off 2008's 'Theater of the Mind.'

But as they say, one man's trash is another (wo)man's treasure. Well, there's nothing trashy about Premier's beat at all, as becomes apparent when Rapsody starts flipping syllables and braggadocio over the hypnotic keys loop.
