Ransom and Statik Selektah are keeping the formula simple with their upcoming project, 'The Proposal,' which they are offering for stream now.

The project is all about hard beats and hard rhymes, and very little else. The duo rely on their own names, securing only two features on the album, Styles P and Ea$y Money.

This the hungriest that the Jersey rapper has sounded in years. On at least one song, Ransom acknowledges the dispute with Nicki Minaj that has garnered him some notoriety in the last several months.Meanwhile, Statik's production and scratches are simple but polished. Most importantly, they knock. This is headnod music at its finest.

Meanwhile, Statik has put out a video for the song 'Gz Pimps & Hustlers,' one of the songs off his latest album, 'Extended Play.' The song features rhymes from Wais P.

Stream 'The Proposal' below. The album itself dropped earlier today.
