Although the rain didn't stop performers and concertgoers alike from showing up at the 2015 Governors Ball Music Festival on Friday (June 5), it became a bit of a hazard for some artists including Rae Sremmurd.

As we previously reported, the rap duo's set hit a snag when Slim Jimmy slipped onstage and landed on a piece of glass that slashed his leg opened. Since everyone was getting into “Unlock My Swag,” not too many people noticed it happening until we saw him quickly climb back onstage and hobbling backstage to get medical treatment.

Once that happened, the music was then cut off as medics ran onto the stage. While some would start booing or complain about the music stopping, there was a strong sense of concern throughout the crowd. "Slim Jimmy just really f---ing injured himself," Swae Lee inform the crowd. "This n----'s leg is split open like that, but he's the turn up king! God bless Slim Jim."

While Swae and the group's DJ tried to appease the crowd, Jimmy couldn't stay silent any longer and finally spoke up. "Hey yo! I'm not dead! So you better turn the f--- up, and you bad bitches hit us up," Slim Jimmy said without a sign of pain in his voice.

Knowing that Jimmy was okay, this left Swae Lee to finish the show on his own. And while some might think that the Governors Ball main stage would be too big for the soon-to-be 20-year-old rapper, he took it on like a beast. Performing their hits like "My X," "No Flex Zone," "Throw Sum More" (sans Nicki Minaj) and "Come Get Her," he really got everyone dancing it out in the crowd. And the fans were more than willing to help him out during parts of songs. So despite what happened, Rae Sremmurd had a successful show.

And as far Slim Jimmy, since being sent to the hospital, the young rapper has updated his fans on his condition via Instagram. "Swag, I'm ok, shouts out to all good vibes I really appreciate them......I do this shit #Juice #Juice #Juice #SremmLife #EardrummerRecords photo credz @bigzeke01," he captioned a photo.
