Since Beyonce sent the internet into a frenzy when she released her visual album Lemonade on Saturday (April 24), Rachel Roy has been on the BeyHive’s radar as Jay Z's mistress.

Roy attempted to clear her name and respond with an indirect Instagram post, which sent the Hive into more uproar. Since then her IG account has been flooded with bumblebee emojis. Even her Wikipedia page was hacked because she may have been the woman who almost destroyed Jayonce's union.

On Tuesday (April 26), in a statement to People, Roy makes it clear that she is not "Becky" that Beyonce is referring to in the song, "Sorry." The statement reads:

I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that," she said. "There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.

Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats. As a mother – and I know many mothers would agree – I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable.

"I would hope that the media sees the real issue here – the issue of cyber bullying – and how it should not be tolerated by anyone."

We have to agree that cyber-bullying has no place on the internet.

Hopefully, now that Roy and Rita Ora have been cleared of being the elusive "Becky," folks can move on and focus on more important things in life - like peace, love and happiness.
