Fans will have to wait a little longer for R. Kelly's 'Black Panties' album. The collection was originally due Nov. 11 but a rep for RCA Records has confirmed to Rolling Stone that it has been pushed back a month.

The Chicago singer's 12th album will now arrive in stores Dec. 10. The rep said that last minute adjustment with the mastering of the project was the cause for the new release date.

So far, Kells has released three singles from the LP: the rags-to-riches anthem 'My Story' (featuring 2 Chainz), the sensual ballad 'Genius' and delectable tune 'Cookie.'

In the meantime, R. Kelly has been using pen to craft songs for other artists. The tunesmith will appear on Lady Gaga's new album 'ARTPOP' on a song called 'Do What U Want.'

"He sounds incredible," Mother Monster tweeted.

Meanwhile, Kells is excited about 'Black Panties' and can't wait for fans to hear the album.

"So proud of this next album I have to share with ya'll... It's official," he wrote.
