R. Kelly Says New ‘Trapped in the Closet’ Will Arrive in a ‘Couple Months’

Nearly 10 years after the release of R. Kelly‘s original ‘Trapped in the Closet’ (Part 1 – 5), Kells has just confirmed that new chapters for the saga are a “couple months” away.

TMZ caught up with the Chicago stepping king as he was leaving New York’s Sony offices, and of course the only thing they had to ask was, “What’s the status of ‘Trapped in the Closet’? That’s what everyone wants to know.”

Being mum only on the official release date, Kelly said the new ‘TITC’ series is called ‘The Package,’ and it will be in fans’ hands soon.

For those who don’t know, the ‘Trapped in the Closet’ series began in 2005, with five chapters and appeared on R. Kelly’s ‘TP.3 Reloaded’ album. Since then, the E-major song pattern has brought life to more sex, lies and scandal than ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.’

But if you want to get a sneak peek into what Sylvester and Antione have in store for chapters 34 to whatever, take a look at some behind-the-scenes footage below.
