Just when we thought R. Kelly's troubles had reached their peak, George Daniels, the singer's longtime associate and husband of his former publicist, Regina Daniels, is speaking out about an alleged intimate relationship between Kelly and his daughter, Maxine.

"He crossed the line with my daughter," Daniels told Los Angeles radio station KJLH's morning show host Guy Black. "It didn't get to the extreme of that [sex tape] video or else I wouldn't be here, if you know what I'm talking about ... When you're 21 -- and if you've been there already, like I've been many years ago -- you're still 15 to 16 mentally. You're vulnerable."

While Maxine was over the age of 18, and therefore legal, during the supposed relationship, the Daniels insists Kelly took advantage of the 14-year relationship he had with their family. Daniels went on to tell KJLH that he felt "betrayed" considering the 41-year-old knew Maxine since she was 7.

Kelly's spokesperson responded to the Daniels' claims and outrage with a rebuttal that sounds more like "yeah, I did it ... and what?" The singer's rep told TMZ, "It's hard to take seriously the moral outrage expressed by George and Regina Daniels over R. Kelly's relationship with Mr. Daniels' adult daughter, Maxine. The fact is that they had no problem with the relationship -- indeed, they encouraged it -- while Ms. Daniels was on Mr. Kelly's payroll."
