Q-Tip Practices Impressions, Talks ‘Kamaal the Abstract’

In 2008, Q-Tip, unarguably a Renaissance man, delivered his second studio album 'The Renaissance.' But fans of the Tribe Called Quest MC are well aware that the gap between his 1999 solo debut 'Amplified' and his '08 sophomore effort was due to a bit of label drama and circumstance. Tip sat down with The BoomBox to discuss his old/new project, 'Kamaal the Abstract,' which after a seven-year delay will finally see the light of day.
