Puff Daddy (aka Diddy) and the Family are gearing up to perform at the 2016 Essence Festival in New Orleans. 

In an announcement made today (April 20), Puff will reunite with his Bad Boy Records entourage, who are taking the main stage on Sunday, July 3. The annual festival will take place June 30-July 3 in New Orleans.

Diddy and the gang join previously announced headliners Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey and Maxwell. Other artists hitting the stage include Lion Babe, The Internet, Lalah Hathaway, MC Lyte, Dej Loaf and Khelani just to name a few. The headline is presented by Combs and fellow rapper Common.

Artists of the past and present Bad Boy Records expected to appear include Mase, Faith Evans, 112, French Montana, the Lox, Total, Mario Winans and affiliated members Lil Kim and Mary J. Blige.

Organizers also announced today, the night-by-night line-up of all performances taking place in the New Orleans Superdome. Ticket info and updates on the 2016 Essence Music festival are available at essence.com.
