In paying proper homage to perhaps the greatest musician of our time, whenever the Minnesota Wild score, hockey fans will get to jam to Prince's "Let's Go Crazy." You have to wonder why this wasn't already thing, even before Prince passed back in April, because it seems like a pretty obvious song choice.

The Wild announced on Tuesday they will use the song after the team scores at the Xcel Energy Center. Billboard reports the change comes because season ticket holders said they wanted it in survey.

"You spoke, we listened," the team's Twitter account posted yesterday (Aug. 23).

Prince's classic jam will replace Joe Satriana's "Crowd Chant" as the official scoring theme song. This news follows an announcement that Prince's legendary estate, Paisley Park, will not be sold off with some of his other property, but will instead by turned into a museum that fans will be able to visit at some point.

CORE Media Group, the entertainment company behind the Graceland estate of the late Elvis Presley, is reportedly developing a Prince museum with assistance from Berner Trust, the administrators of Prince’s estate.
