Prince And Zooey Deschanel Team Up On ‘FALLINLOVE2NITE’

We thought Prince's appearance on 'The New Girl' was a hilarious and one-time deal, but it looks like he and the show's star, Zooey Deschanel, who's also a member of indie pop duo, She & Him, were actually working on other things behind the scenes. And it came in the form of a new track called, 'FALLINLOVE2NITE.'

Following the same dance and funk vibe of the rest of the tracks Prince has released with 3rdEyeGirl so far, it was unsurprising that this track is another one for the clubs. Retro in feel, the two take turns on the mic convincing people to give love a chance.

"Special night, my favorite crew / The moon threatened to dance her out of her shoes / In it's end, she's about to heel / And all forgot, she could not refuse," he sings.

The song does take you back to the days of 'Soul Train,' but the electronic layers on the song, along with the inclusion of the a horn section, make you feel like this party is somewhere in outer space. But when it comes to Prince and his eccentricities, that's not too far from the truth.

Aside from the new track, Prince has joined the world of Instagram. Sharing photos daily, fans can see what the artist is up to from his current tour and promo of the upcoming LP, 'PLECTRUMELECTRUM,' set to release later this year.
