Prince Rocks Third Eye at 2015 American Music Awards

Whenever Prince graces us with his presence, the experience is an unforgettable one. And if it's not what he says, it's the outfit he decides to put on for the occasion.

So when he appeared at the 2015 American Music Awards to present the award for Favorite Soul/R&B Album on Sunday night (Nov. 22), he stirred things up by walking to the mic like he was about to perform for the crowd. Unfortunately, the guitar hanging off his back was only an accessory.

But that's okay because it's Prince -- he can do wrong. His '70s throwback style was a focal point as he wore his hair in an afro and a canary yellow pants and top number. He tied together with a very bright golden vest.

The singer completed the outfit with a pair of circular mode sunglasses with a little surprise built in. Instead of just having two lenses, he pulled out a third one perfectly positioned in the middle of his forehead. The glasses are a nod to his group 3rdeyegirl. While it looks a little ridiculous, only one individual can pull something like that off. And that's Prince.
