Last week, Janelle Monáe released two opulent videos for “Django Jane” and “Make Me Feel.” The latter song sounds like something Prince would've written during his heyday. Well, come to found out, the late musician actually did work on the song.

Prince’s DJ, Lenka Paris, revealed in a now-since deleted Facebook post, that the Purple One did work on Monáe’s new album, Dirty Computer. Apparently, Prince gave her a special "heavy synth" that he was working on to the R&B singer. Read her Paris' message below.

If you listen to "Make Me Feel," you can hear the penetrating synth groove throughout the song, which fits perfectly with Monáe's seductive lyrics.

As Okayplayer pointed out, in past interviews with The Guardian and BBC, Monáe revealed that Prince was a major contributor to her new project before his untimely death.

“Prince actually was working on the album with me before he passed on to another frequency, and helped me come up with sounds. I really miss him, it’s hard for me to talk about him, she told BBC.

“I wouldn’t be as comfortable with who I am if it had not been for Prince," Monáe later told The Guardian. "I mean, my label Wondaland would not exist without Paisley Park coming before us.”

Janelle Monáe's fourth album, Dirty Computer, will arrive in digital stores on April 27.
