After successfully leading the festivities at the American Music Awards last year, Pitbull will return to the stage as host of the 2014 American Music Awards.

With 12.93 million people tuned in on Nov. 24, 2013, it only made sense to bring him back on board for this year's awards show.

“Pitbull is a global superstar and multi-talented powerhouse, who delivered one of the most exciting shows in American Music Awards history when he hosted in 2013. This year will be no different,” American Music Awards producer Larry Klein told Billboard. “We’re working together to create elements of the show that will wow audiences and take the night to a whole new level.”

But Pitbull won't just be hosting the show; he'll also be performing a new song from his upcoming album, 'Globalization,' which releases on Nov. 24, which is the day after the awards show airs.

"World, who would have thought Pitbull hosting the AMAs two years in a row," he said in a statement. "The harder I work, the luckier I get. Thank you ABC and dick clark productions for the amazing opportunity -- more than anything let's get ready to have fun. Dale!"

The 2014 American Music Awards will air live on Nov. 24 on ABC at 8PM EST.
