Pharrell’s highly-anticipated sneaker collabo with Adidas Originals "Hu NMDs" will officially release to the public this weekend, making its way to retailers overseas. The name of the sneaker seems to be a representation of Pharrell’s worldly social consciousness. With "Hu" representing Human Being, Human Race, Human Kind and Human Species."

Pharrell’s "Hu NMD" kicks are aiming to make strides in fashion and humanity while also representing the “Adidas Original DNA” using their latest breakthrough in technology for the manufacturing of the sneakers.

The unique, bright yellow kicks boast the word ‘HUMAN’ on the right foot in bold black letters and ‘RACE’ on the left foot. The new line of NMD’s features vibrant yellow mesh-like material and bold black accents along the midsole and a white bottom sole.

Aside from being a fashion trend-setter, Pharrell is staying busy in the music world. Kid Cudi recently announced that he's collaborating with the singer/producer on an upcoming project. The Chicago rapper and Pharrell are both known for pushing the edge musically, so their link-up seems fitting.

In the meantime, select retailers will distribute Pharrell's kicks on its scheduled release of Friday July 22 including, Sneakersnstuff (overseas) and Billionaire Boys Club flagship stores globally, followed by the adidas Originals stockists on August 25. The price as of now is $240 USD.
