N.E.R.D. frontman Pharrell weighed in on T.I.'s recent arrest, saying that regardless of the outcome, he's "gonna be fine" because he's so human. "He got the heart of a champion," Pharrell told MTV. "Whatever happens, Tip gonna be fine, regardless. He got a good heart, and at the end of the day, he's a human being." Leave Britney alone!!! Seriously though, T.I. needs a life coach. [MTV]

So, Mark Ronson got mugged in NYC, and then he sonned himself. "As they're coming to the end of mugging me, I'm still standing there and they're making their plans. One of them is, like, 'We'll meet you back at so-and-so's house', and they knock fists together. And, because I had so many nerves running through me, I actually put my hand out and did the same. Like, 'Yeah, thanks for that'." Cool story, bro. [DigitalSpy]

Apparently, former 'My So-Called Life' star Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds to Mars recorded a "dope-ass song" called "Hurricane" with Kanye West, but due to label politics, Kanye's verse didn't make the final cut. "Let's put it this way: It's a collision of two worlds, and I think it's a completely unexpected surprise," Leto said of the track. "He's not only on the track, but he's phenomenal on the track....It's one of the strongest things that he's done, in my opinion." Well, you know what they say about opinions, right? They're like songs with Kanye, everyone's got one. [MTV]
