Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke aren't looking too "happy" in deposition videos released following the "Blurred Lines" lawsuit. Fans get to see how each of the artist's answers played a part in the jury's final decision in the case.

In separate videos obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Williams and Thicke are questioned by the Marvin Gaye estate attorney Richard Busch. He nearly berates the "Happy" singer about his knowledge of music with questions on whether he can read notes and on defining "pentatonic bluegrass," to which Williams repeats that he's not "comfortable" with answering. He also states that he's "not a music teacher" and urges the lawyer to speak to an expert or to someone who is to get the answers he's looking for.

On the two songs in question -- Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Gaye's "Got to Give It Up" -- Williams admits there are similarities but maintains that they are not identical. "I see when people say they feel that. I understand that. But the truth of the matter is silk and rayon are two different things. They just feel the same," the Neptunes producer states. Later on, he adds that he "did not go in the studio with the intention of making anything feel like, or to sound like, Marvin Gaye."

As for Thicke, the videos are short but telling as he admits to being high and drunk for every interview he did in 2013. He also admits that he doesn't consider himself to be an honest person.

Unfortunately, Thicke and Williams were found guilty of copying Gaye's song for "Blurred Lines" earlier this year. They were also ordered to pay the Gaye Family a total of $7.4 million in copyright damages and profits related to infringement.
