Waking up extra early on a Monday morning can be rough for some, but not Pharrell. Today (April 7), the lauded entertainer, who just celebrated his 41st birthday on April 5, kicked off the week with a performance of 'Happy' on 'Good Morning America' -- right in the middle of Times Square in New York City.

Donning his signature hat -- this time in grey -- and a Billionaire Boys Club varsity jacket, Pharrell sang his chart-topping hit in a "room without a roof." Cloudy skies didn't deter the producer-singer and his squad of backup dancers from putting on a smile.

In addition to 'Happy,' Pharrell also performed 'Come Get It Bae' off his new album, 'G I R L,' and took some time to answer questions from his supporters. Find out what inspires the Oscar-nominated star and watch him get into his groove below.
